Good morning on the island of the 100 mills: Marie-Galante. With less tourists than its neighbors, this island will charm you with its authenticity! You stop at Labat Distillery to dive into the fascinating history and culture of Rum! After the visit it’s time for the Rum testing! Tonight, why not enjoying less light pollution and go on the Sun bed for a session of stargazing?

This morning you are welcomed at Gwakako for a 100% Gourmet Workshop! Follow Claude into his universe dedicated to the cacao farming and chocolate production! With him, you will learn more about the culture and the history of this delicious product! You will make your own chocolates bars before going on a tour around his property. For your lunch, we’ve booked you a table at the restaurant O Z’epices! The cuisine of the talented Chef Jimmy BIBRAC is reflecting his creole culture. A real laboratory where local flavors meet creativity and modernity! From there, your driver will pick you up and take you to the waterfall: “Saut d’Acomat”. Short stroll in the tropical forest will bring you straight to the waterfall, falling from 9 meters high into this emerald green bath. To wrap this day up, your private shuttle will take you to Grande-Anse, located on the North West of the island of Basse-Terre, its golden sand contrast very well with the turquoise color of the Caribbean Sea. Did you know that this place is the shooting location of the internationally successful British TV Show: “Death in Paradise”? Open your eyes, you might be able to spot one the actors.
After breakfast, you are going into the direction of Goyave. Start in with a drive along the south coast of Basse-Terre’s island to go to the Garden of Valombreuse, nested in the middle of a lush valley of Petit Bourg. A tropical paradise full of charm and myriad colors where you can enjoy a peaceful ride onboard of an electric train before heading to the restaurant of the domaine : “Milles et une fleur”.
