Day 1

You meet a member of the Sun Sea team with whom you meet your prestigious 43-foot Leopard Powercat motor catamaran.
At 5:00 pm, you embark for your first night on board. Tonight, you have two options: you can spend the night at the “Marina du Marin” or at the Pointe Borgnèse anchorage.
Once moored, you can celebrate the beginning of this new adventure and enjoy your cocktail dinner basket composed by our prestigious partner. Creative products and recipes that honor local products and homemade drinks with Martinique flavors.

Day 2

This morning, we head towards the extreme south of the island and the famous beach of “Grande-Anse des Salines” with its white sand and its coconut trees leaning over the sea; starting point of your first hike to discover the “Savane des Pétrifications”. This desert space is a paradise for geologists, you walk along the cliffs of the “Pointe d’Enfer” and cross this curious dead landscape where fossil trunks could once be seen. You can continue your walk by going to the beautiful beach of “Anse Trabaud”. After your hike, you take the direction of “Ilet Hardy”. When you arrive at “Ilet Hardy”, you enjoy a moment of swimming in the calm of this small and peaceful island only accessible by boat. Tonight, you sleep in the peaceful “Baie des Anglais”, a perfect place for relaxation and change of scenery. Our chef comes on board to serve you an exceptional meal based on revisited local flavors.

Day 3

After breakfast, you sail towards the beach of “Pointe Faula” to practice the water activities of your choice: kitesurfing, windsurfing, kayaking, paddle, wakeboarding… At noon, the “Table d’hôtes” of the “Maison of Ilet Oscar” welcomes you to (re)discover the local cuisine in an exceptional setting. This afternoon, the famous Josephine’s Bathtub awaits you for a moment of relaxation! This evening, you sleep at Ilet Madame, a peaceful site perfect for relaxation and change of scenery.

Day 4

After breakfast, you discover the “Ilet la Grotte” and the “Ilet Chancel” where you are able to visit the remains of an old pottery, a colony of endemic iguana and a splendid mangrove. Then, you take the direction of the “Baie du Trésor” where the mangrove is home to all the species of mangroves of the island. An exceptional site with the possibility of swimming and hiking on the Peninsula of Caravelle: a peninsula about ten kilometers long with superb views of the Atlantic Ocean. Then, you take the direction of Tartane and more precisely of “Anse Bonneville”, THE beach for surfers! For a moment of surfing on this famous spot of Martinique. For dinner, a cooking and tasting workshop is planned on board! You learn how to cook fresh and local food in an original way, so that you can continue to enjoy the Martinique cuisine on your return at home. Tonight, you sleep in Tartane.

Day 5

Today, embark with your driver-guide for a day of land excursions! Depending on weather conditions and your preferences, we offer either a climb of the famous Mont Pelee or a trip up the beautiful Alma River, right in the heart of the rainforest. The ascent of the Chinese (highest point of the Mount Pelee), offers an exceptional 360° panorama on a clear day, you can discover the caldera and the crater as well as their very rich vegetation. Even if it seems to be dormant, the volcano is still considered active and has given its name to a type of volcanic eruption called Pelean. To give you strength during this day, you take with your yummy salad bowls, healthy and balanced food made out of local flavors. At the end of the afternoon, you enjoy a magnificent sunset in the harbor of St Pierre.

Day 6

Nicknamed the Little Paris, the Paris of the Islands or the Pearl of the West Indies, you wake up in the harbor of St-Pierre, city of art and history. When the weather is, you will be able to admire the majestic Mont Pelée. This morning, you can either join the club “A PAPADLO” for a dive in the North Caribbean, very rich in dive sites. You will be able to explore the wrecks of the bay because at the time of the volcanic eruption of 1902, 40 large commercial ships were at anchor in the bay of Saint-Pierre and all disappeared instantly, submerged by the burning cloud. The most famous sites are « Le Roraima », « Le Diamant », « Le Dahlia » and « Le Biscaye ». Other dive sites to explore further north are “Rivière Claire”, “La Coucoune”, “Babody” and “La Citadelle”. Or you can opt for a canyoning trip to discover some of the many spots in the north of the island. Strong sensations guaranteed! In the afternoon, we take you to “Fond Boucher”, a secret cove accessible only by sea! For dinner, the “Sushi Péyi” team come on board for a sushi workshop between Japanese tradition and Martinique’s terroir: the sushi is made only from fish caught off our coast and the range is changed every month, taking into account the seasonality of local ingredients. You spend the night in Fort-de-France.

Day 7

This afternoon, you leave by kayak to discover the mangrove of Génipa, the largest but also the oldest and the richest in fauna and flora of Martinique.
Then, direction « Anses d’Arlet» : « Anse Noire », « Anse Dufour », « Grande Anse » and « Le Bourg ». Enjoy these magnificent landscapes for your last day on board and go to meet turtles and other marine species!
Then head for Sainte Anne, admire the famous Diamond Rock, before enjoying your last evening on board in Sainte Anne, one of the most popular anchorages in Martinique.
This evening, our chef comes on board to serve you an exceptional meal based on local flavors.

Day 8

It is now 9:00 am, your cruise is over. It’s time to take all these wonderful memories with you and to meet up with one of the Sun Sea team members at the Marina du Marin.
