Logbook
Day 1
You meet a member of the Sun Sea team with whom you meet your prestigious 43-foot Leopard Powercat motor catamaran.
At 5:00 pm, you embark for your first night on board. Tonight, you have two options: you can spend the night at the “Marina du Marin” or at Sainte Anne.
Once moored, you can celebrate the beginning of this new adventure and enjoy your cocktail dinner basket composed by our prestigious partner. Creative products and recipes that honor local products and homemade drinks with Martinique flavors.
Day 2
This morning, head to Saint Lucia! Famous for its two volcanic Pitons, which dominate Soufriere Bay. This Caribbean Island is also full of wonderful coral reefs.
First, stop at Rodney Bay to enjoy the luxurious facilities of the marina: restaurants, shopping mall, spas, nautical activities… You can also take a walk in Pigeon Island, former British navy base during the British occupation. Visit the remains of Fort Rodney and its spectacular views over the bay. Also one of the most beautiful beaches of the island.
Then, sail to Marigot Bay to spend the rest of the day and the night. This cove is very peaceful with white sand and coconut trees. Both landscape and seabed are splendid.
Tonight, we recommend the “Marigot Bay Resort” for dinner or a drink, perfect place to enjoy your evening in an idyllic setting.
Day 3
After breakfast, head to Anse Cochon : beautiful fine sand beach with a luxury resort and unspoiled nature. It is an excellent spot for snorkeling with rich underwater fauna. You will also find a scuba diving club there.
Then, head to the famous “Pitons Bay”. The landscape as you approach the Pitons is breathtaking. Both Pitons have been listed as UNESCO World Heritage since 2004.
Along the way, make sure you stop at Soufriere, a village worth a visit with its lively streets full of old Creole houses. It is also the starting point for an excursion to the Sulfur Springs, one of the main tourist attractions of the island. For your excursions, we recommend you contact our favorite guide: Wayne (Wayne’s Tours & Hiking Club).
If you are quite athletic, Wayne can accompany you to the summit of Ti Piton, a slightly perilous hike offering breathtaking views once at the top!
For dinner, we recommend “Sugar Beach, Viceroy Resort Saint Lucia”: a luxurious complex in an idyllic setting. The hotel Spa is also worth a visit with its tree houses, an unexpected scenery!
Day 4
This morning, wake up in Pitons Bay reserve, with no doubt the most emblematic anchorage of the island!
After a moment of swimming and relaxation, head to Anse Chastanet. This cove has a beautiful fine sand beach and magnificent protected coral reef including a coral nursery.
You will also find a scuba diving club and a restaurant on the beach.
After lunch, it is time to sail back to Martinique. Depending on the season, you may be lucky enough to see dolphins or whales along the way.
It is now 5:00 pm, your cruise is coming to an end. It’s time to take all those wonderful memories with you and meet up with a member of the Sun Sea team at the Marina du Marin.
